SAP System Analysis
The basic SAP Basis operation includes the operational readiness of the SAP system, management of system changeability, configuration and administration of system profiles, analysis of system failures, operation and monitoring of technical interfaces, scheduling and monitoring of SAP standard jobs, and much more. The optional services as an extension include activities whose implementation and frequency depends on the existing system environment and which can be optionally booked (client copies, implementation of client transports and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copies, etc.). These include performing release upgrades, installing enhancement packages, adapting new printer types, device drivers or character sets, and much more.

Maintaining the availability of critical business processes not only requires a high-quality infrastructure, but also places equally high demands on the management and operation of the underlying SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA platforms due to their high complexity. These platforms are often referred to as SAP Basis.
Among others, we offer the following services:
You can control the access rights as usual. The big advantage of CMC tab configuration is that you can easily grant or withdraw group access to specific tabs. This gives you the ability to prepare background access permissions and then unlock all permissions by clicking on the CMC tab configuration. On the other hand, this allows you to remove accesses without having to edit any existing permissions. Have you already experienced CMC tab configuration or have questions about the application? I welcome any suggestions you may make as a comment.

It should be mentioned here that it only makes sense to access the tables by reading the SELECT statement to get a quick view of the results. Using the DBACOCKPIT, it is not possible to create entire table structures using Create Table. For such applications, SAP provides other, better options. Another important point is that once a user has the necessary permissions to use the transaction DBACOCKPIT, it can potentially (with appropriate permissions on the tables) access the entire SAP system. For example, a query can be used to read the entire user table. Therefore, the transaction should always be treated with caution and only awarded to administrators. DBACOCKPIT handles the call control permissions similar to the SE16 / SE16N transaction. When the table is called, the S_TABU_DIS or S_TABU_NAM permission object is checked with a specific activity. This means that only the tables or table permission groups for which the corresponding values in the aforementioned permission objects are assigned can be accessed. You can read more about assigning permissions to individual tables here. In addition, you can save SQL statements that you run once, and run them again at any time to recognise changes in the result set without having to reformulate the SQL statement each time. The editor also allows you to start the query for SQL statements in the background. The result is obtained by calling the transaction SM37, in which the result is output in a spool file.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" is a PC application that simplifies or even facilitates many activities in the SAP basis.

SME-Cloud is in contact with the global cloud manager (if it exists in the company).

SAP Basis is the foundation of any SAP system. You can find a lot of useful information about it on this page: www.sap-corner.de.

The SAR files are unpacked with SAPCAR and checked for their digital signature.
