Set a specific acronym or character to indicate whether your role has critical accesses so that separate assignment or approval rules can be observed for such roles. Define here what"critical"means for your project. Do you only want to identify permissions that are critical to the operation of the SAP system, or business-critical processes? Also define the consistency that has a critical role to play in the assignment to the user.

There may be other objects associated with the site that you can also assign a PFCG role to. As in our organisation chart, you can assign three different PFCG rolls to the user. You can assign the PFCG roles to either the organisational unit, the post or the post. In this hierarchy, you assign the user as the person of the post. The user is assigned to the person as an attribute and therefore not visible in the organisational model. An HR structure could be mapped via this hierarchy. Since the PFCG roles are not directly assigned to the user but to the objects in the Organisation Management and the user is assigned to the PFCG roles only because of his association with these objects, we speak of an indirect assignment.
Advantages of authorization tools
If you use the option described by us to reload the change documents into a shadow database, you should also run the report SUIM_CTRL_CHG_IDX after each reload operation, marking the field Indexes loaded change documents. In this case, all reverse-loaded change documents shall be taken into account. Before doing so, all index entries must be deleted; This can lead to a long run of the report.

You can access the ABAP Test Cockpit from the context menu of the object to be checked via Verify > ABAP Test Cockpit. Note that the global check variant of the Code Inspector that you created in the transaction SCI and that is entered as the default in the transaction ATC (ATC configuration) includes the security tests of the extended programme check of the SAP Code Vulnerability Analyser.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

As an administrator, you can also back up failed permission checks from other users.

At www.sap-corner.de you will also find a lot of useful information on the subject of SAP authorizations.

The permission checks are logged as part of the system trace in transaction ST01.
