Error analysis for authorizations (part 1)
Statistical data of other users
If there are no buttons for copying and pasting in the PFCG transaction, you can simply insert them. Only seven lines are displayed in the dialogue box to maintain field values to properties in transaction PFCG. Up to now it was not possible to insert more than these seven lines at once from the clipboard. However, this may often be necessary in the context of the maintenance of permissions, for example if you want to use entries from other roles. Read how to copy and paste the buttons in the dialogue box to maintain field values to the authorization objects.

When you start a report with the ABAP statement SUBMIT REPORT, the system checks the authorization object S_PROGRAM, provided that the program has been assigned to a program authorization group in transaction SE38. If this assignment is not sufficient for your system environment, you can define your own group assignment with the report RSCSAUTH. You must check this assignment after installing Support Packages or upgrades and reassign the reports if necessary.
Grant permission for external services from SAP CRM
If a user is assigned SAP_ALL, he has all permissions in an ABAP system. Therefore, particular care should be taken in the dedicated award of this entitlement. SAP_ALL can be generated automatically when you transport authorization objects. The SAP_ALL_GENERATION parameter must be maintained in the PRGN_CUST table.

If an entry in transaction SE97 is correctly created, a permission check is performed in the same way as a transaction startup authorisation. This approach therefore requires an exact and complete configuration for each transaction that is invoked. The required effort and the space for errors are correspondingly large. The CALL TRANSACTION ABAP command does not cause a transaction startup permission check. Without a permission check, the ABAP programme could unintentionally allow users to access system resources. In many cases, such authorisation problems lead to a hidden compliance violation, because this means that the traceability of user actions in the SAP system is no longer guaranteed. A developer should not rely on the functionality of the SE97 transaction and therefore should include the possible permission checks in the code. Therefore, one of the following explicitly coded permission checks for the CALL TRANSACTION statement must be performed.

The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".

The system will propose to call the interface "PFCG_1"; You can simply confirm this.

This happens, for example, when changes in SAP SuccessFactors responsibilities occur on the customer side or different implementation partners were active in the past.
