Error analysis for authorizations (part 1)
For the transport of PFCG roles with their profiles there is also an SAP notice: Note 1380203. If you enter the correction, it is possible to use separate positions for the third and fourth digits of the generated profile name for the definition. In the SAP standard, the name of a generated profile is composed as follows, for example, if the System ID is ADG: T-AG#####. If your other source systems differ only in the second place of the system ID, the profile name does not indicate from which system the profiles originate.

SAPconnect uses the S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) standard for signing when sending emails or for verifying and decrypting received emails. S/MIME is supported by most email clients and requires X.509-based certificates.

As with an SAP_NEW role, it is possible to generate an SAP_APP role. As with the SAP_APP profile, all permissions are included here, except the base permissions and the HCM permissions. The ability to create this role with the report REGENERATE_SAP_APP exists after inserting the SAP note 1703299. This report generates a role that is fully usable for all applications. However, we recommend using this role only for development and test systems.

For an overview of the active values of your security policy, click the Effective button. Note that not only the attributes you have changed are active, but also the suggestion values you have not changed.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

This report creates a detailed transport BOM based on the application names.

At www.sap-corner.de you will also find a lot of useful information on the subject of SAP authorizations.

As in our organisation chart, you can assign three different PFCG rolls to the user.
