Maintain generated profile names in complex system landscapes
Numbers/reminders: The payment and/or collection procedure shall be managed solely on the basis of information from the collection perspective (in particular Table BSEG). For customer and vendor transactions, the Profit Centre is not included in the SAP journal masks by default, and is therefore not available on the appropriate BSEG document lines. Since numbers and warnings are usually centrally controlled processes, this should not be a problem in practice.

Once you have identified the organisational features to consider, verify that you can redesign the existing roles so that the organisational features can be clearly maintained by use. This leads you to a concept in which functional and organisational separation is simply possible. However, it will end up with a larger amount of roles: Roles posting/investing, changing roles, reading roles. Such a concept is free of functional separation conflicts and is so granular that the organisational characteristics can be pronounced per use area.
Security Automation for HR Authorizations
You can automate the translation of the texts by using the LSMW transaction. This transaction is intended for migration tasks, but is also very well suited to allow a particular transaction to be repeated and automated. You record the execution of a transaction and get the variables of the text blocks (technical role name, role description, etc.). You can add values from an import file based on Microsoft Excel to each flow loop. For example, the Excel file contains a table with the columns Technical role name, description German, description English. The LSMW script works through the import file line by line and thus role by role.

Despite progressive use of web interfaces in the S/4HANA context, batch processing for mass data is still required. However, our experience from customer projects shows that only very few authorization administrators know how to correctly authorize the scenarios. SAP OSS Note 101146 provides a good overview here. In this blog post, we would like to summarize the context for practical use.

If you get into the situation that authorizations are required that were not considered in the role concept, "Shortcut for SAP systems" allows you to assign the complete authorization for the respective authorization object.

There will be regular transactions used in multiple roles.

At www.sap-corner.de you will also find a lot of useful information on the subject of SAP authorizations.

We would like to give you some examples of critical permissions in this tip.
