Identify the user master record in the Active Directory associated with the user ID that you are creating in the SU01 transaction. To do this, search within the Active Directory for a user master set for which the user ID you are looking for is entered as the SAP user name. Next, fill in the transaction SU01 fields with the data from the Active Directory User Set.

We now want to describe the necessary settings in the sending application using the example of encrypted sending of initial passwords. There is a special feature for roles if the corresponding SAP system is based on S/4HANA. While under SAP ERP only roles with authorizations for the GUI system were relevant, corresponding business roles are required for the applications under FIORI. In addition to the roles in which authorization objects and authorization values are entered, so-called business roles are also required.
Assigning a role for a limited period of time is done in seconds with "Shortcut for SAP systems" and allows you to quickly continue your go-live.
The general SAP authorizations are used most often and for many things they are sufficient.
