Automatically pre-document user master data
For the application identifier (defined in the TBE11 table), see the TPCPROGS table. The organisational unit is evaluated in the context of the application label. In general, this is the accounting area.

The SAP standard allows you to evaluate the statistical usage data via a standard function block. The call is made through the transaction SE37. Select here the function block SWNC_GET_WORKLOAD_STATISTIC. The function block is used to write the usage statistics to a temporary table, from which you can extract the data for further use.
Background processing
Check to see if there are any corrective recommendations to follow for your release. We recommend that you run the SU24_AUTO_REPAIR correction report before executing the transaction SU25 (see tip 38, "Use the SU22 and SU24 transactions correctly"). If necessary, run this report in the old lease, but in any case before importing the new proposal values. Use the test mode of the report to look at possible corrections in advance. In addition, to ensure that you do not lose information with your upgrade work, you can write and release the data from the SU24 transaction on step 3 (customer table transport) in the SU25 transaction to a transport order. This way, a backup of your SU24 data is made. Now the upgrade work can begin. Warning: Do not perform step 1 (customer tables were initially filled), because this overwrites the USOBT_C and USOBX_C customer tables, i.e. the SU24 data, completely with the SAP suggestion values. However, you want to keep your SU24 data and add to the proposed changes for the new release!

Since at least developers in the development system have quasi full authorizations, as mentioned above, concrete access to a critical RFC connection can therefore not be revoked. Since RFC interfaces are defined for the entire system, they can be used from any client of the start system. Existing interfaces can be read out via the RFCDES table in the start (development) system.

Assigning a role for a limited period of time is done in seconds with "Shortcut for SAP systems" and allows you to quickly continue your go-live.

In the transaction, you can modify SCUM to change the field allocation properties so that fields that were originally globally distributed across the ZBVs are also locally maintainable.

You can also find some useful tips from practice on the subject of SAP authorizations on the page www.sap-corner.de.

Normally, at least a 3-system landscape is used (development, test and production system).
