Role Management
You know that changing your SU24 data involves mixing the roles in question. Previously, the permission administrators had to select roles from, for example, the SUIM transaction to edit them. Often, the remixing of the respective roles is also forgotten. In order to ensure that you can set the mixing mode for the respective roles directly when maintaining the data in the transaction SU24, the function has been provided here with the respective support packages named in SAP Note 1896191. Correction is used to change the mixing mode for PFCG: On/Off/Roles. The function assigns the shuffle mode to the roles, which corresponds to step 2c of the transaction SU25 (see tip 43, "Customise Permissions After an Upgrade"). You can enable this function by using the value Y for the parameter SU2X_SET_FORCE_MIX in the table PRGN_CUST. The status of the mixing mode can be checked by clicking the button Mixing mode for PFCG: Enquire On/Off. By default, this feature is off. The Roles button (Use in Single Roles) identifies all the roles that the selected application contains and displays them directly in the SU24 transaction. You will receive a list of all matching roles in the SUPC transaction by selecting the Also-to-be-matched roles option, and you can now gradually update the roles.

Similarly, SAP Identity Management version 7.2 SP 3 and above supports the installation of HANA users and the assignment of roles. You can also use Identity Management to add value to the business roles for creating a user with role assignment in the ABAP system and HANA database.
Do not assign SAP_NEW
In our example, the end user logs on to an SCM system, but can also call ERP transactions from here. To have these ERP transactions available in SAP SCM, create a new PFCGE role in SAP SCM, e.g. ZS:XXXX:ERP_MENU. The ERP transactions that the user should have access to are added to the roles menu by selecting Apply Menus > From Other Role > Destination System. Now select the appropriate ERP system and then select the appropriate PFCG role from SAP ERP. You do not need a profile for this "menu role" because this role only includes the ERP menu. You can now sort the transactions in the Hierarchy pane by using drag and drop or by using the arrow keys as you need them in the NWBC.

Customising the organisational criteria is cross-client. Activation of the organisational criteria depends on the client. If you want to use these permissions in different clients, you must activate the respective organisational criteria for the respective client. Now you can use the organisational criterion in your PFCG role. To do this, enter the S_TABU_LIN authorization object with the organisational criterion you created. Assign the respective attributes with the organisational values for which the user should be entitled. Along with the individual values, you can specify intervals for your organisational criterion so that you can assign permissions to users for multiple organisational values.

The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".

In the left part of the window, you will see the permission values added to the suggestion values already visible.

In addition, however, SAP Note 1307693, which contains new functionalities of licence measurement, must be installed on the subsidiary systems connected to the ZBV.
